Holiday 2011

A more interesting image of the ship seen here anchored off the coast of Santorini. The donkeys are just two of many that trail up and down the 690 steps to the small toewn at the top of the cliffe - what a way to earn a living!!

Holiday 2011

Just returned from a cruise round the med. A great way to see a number of interesting places yet having the comforts of your hotel with you allthe way!! I would reccommend it to anyone. over the coming days I will be posting a few images taken during the trip. Just as a starter the first image is of the ship we travelled aboard, The Brilliance Of The Seas, owned and operated by Royal Caribbean.

Website update

One of these days I am going to get round to putting the final touches to this site.
Time is such a precious commodity

Frustration

Getting very frustrated that I can’t simply synch my blackberry with my iPad and laptop. It appears there is no one simple solution. Looked at google but not very clever

Hey, just worked this out!

Using my iPad I need to tap code then start typing to add a post.
Very odd but seems to work!
It only took me three months to work out but then again I have been busy with other things.

New Website!

Over the holiday season I have not been idle!

Managed (with a bit of trial and error) to build a new website for http://www.cjimages.biz

This was built using Lightroom and plug-ins from TTG (The Turning Gate). Found it relatively simple to use although some of the tutorials seem to presume quite a lot of knowledge of the web, HTML etc, this caused some frustration but finally got there! The nice thing now is that it is really easy to administer from Lightroom. I would stress that the site is still work in progress and I hope to add features to it as I become more competent with the plug-ins.

The other important point is that the site(and its galleries) can be viewed by all browsers and mobile devices such as IPad’s, IPod’s and BB’s. For me this means it is now accessible by an additional 30-40million people!

This is the start.

23rd December 2010 - a momentous day in the history of blogging, Chris Johnson has started his first blog.

Do follow and see where this goes  - at this point I have no idea!
